Updated information & situation of COVID-19 prevention

After the Lunar New Year holiday, the number of Covid-19 cases rocketed in many localities, including Haiphong city. Recently, more than 1,000 cases have been daily recorded, especially among teachers and students.

Being one of the contributors to the above data, on 30 and 31 December 2021, DEEP Industrial Zone successfully deployed the 3rd dose of vaccination for workers who have had 2 injections at DEEP C workshops/warehouses area in DEEP C Haiphong I. Vaccination complies with safety regulations against Covid-19, meaning ensuring distance and avoiding contact among workers of the companies. All workers must test positive before coming to the vaccination site to ensure safe vaccination for both the medical team and the workers. The implementation of vaccination for workers is to ensure the maintenance of the production chain, contribute to epidemic prevention and control, create peace of mind for workers. It is expected that by the end of the first quarter of 2022, 100% of workers working in DEEP C will have completed the booster injection.

In addition, given the current situation, the Government has issued many new regulations related to the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic with the mindset of changing the response strategy from Zero Covid to living together with Covid as stated in Resolution No. 128/NQ-CP on the provisional regulation "Safe adaptation, flexible and effective control of Covid-19 epidemic". While vaccine coverage is being accelerated but has not yet reached universal coverage, there is no specific treatment as COVID-19 treatment drugs are being developed. There is still a need to ensure uniform implementation of regulations and instructions by the government while promoting the creativity of the locality, creating conditions for the recovery of production and business. development, socio-economic development, bringing the people's daily life gradually back to the new normal.
